Glossary Architectural Terms

To help you with describing your nomination's physical attributes, below is a glossary of common architectural terms.  You are not expected to know or use these terms, but it may help you build your case, especially if you consider your nomination has architectural or artistic merit.  It also helps to distinguish your nomination from similar style properties for example, a row of Victorian villas, so thought should be given to how your nomination stands out.
