Description

Site of eighteenth century part timber-framed almshouses at Dinton, demolished in 1927. Dimensions - Length 0028 m DISUSED ALMSHOUSES OF C18 BRICK WITH LITTLE EARLIER TIMBER. ENTRANCE TO CHURCHYARD BY ARCHWAY THROUGH BUILDINGS (B1). LONG RECTANGULAR BUILDING, 2 STOREYS (B2). TAKEN DOWN 1927 (B3). FOUNDATIONS STILL CLEARLY VISIBLE IN S OF CHURCHYARD. STONE EXTERIOR & PARTITION WALLS STANDING 0.5M HIGH (B4).
