Description

Late Iron Age metalwork found whilst metal-detecting. In December 2006, two metal detectorists found a further 73 staters on the site, with another 2 recovered the following year. These new finds comprised 11 South Thames uninscribed Qb-type staters, 62 North Thames uninscribed L-type (Whaddon Chase) staters, and 2 South-west uninscribed B-type (Chute) staters (1 of which is plated). The coins were acquired by Buckinghamshire County Museum (B9).
