Probable eighteenth to ninetenth century milestone on A40 in Gerrards Cross at junction with Bulstrode Way near Rocky Dell. Milestone 20 on Milestones Society survey website London to Worcester route present in 2002 (BU/120). On north side of road 43cm high. Not updated on most recent Milestones Society website. Confirmed by handwritten notes on 1" OS county map (1835) were in Bucks County Museum now in Centre for Bucks Studies. Museum number 48 sheet XLVIII page 6 of notes. Inscription: Beaconsfield 3 Uxbridge 5 London 20. On Beaconsfield to Denham (B2) route. In same notes under J in red box. Milestones. 1825 Bryant- Marked from W. Wycombe to Bushey Leys.
