Classically influenced Baptist Church constructed in 1853. Classically influenced Baptist Church constructed in 1853. Set back from High Street behind high brick wall with stone entrance piers. Row of pollarded trees leading from gates creates formal entrance.Tall narrow gable frontage facing onto High Street with pedimented doorway and circular window in apex of roof. Distinctive building within village, important example of mid 19th century architecture and also makes positive contribution due to the understanding of the social history of the village. This is a local building of note within the Conservation Area of Long Crendon. (B1).
