Description

A row of single storey terraced almshouses constructed of stone and dating from 1910. To the south-west of the Radcliffe centre are nos. 5 to 10, Church Street, which is a row of single storey terraced almshouses constructed of stone and dating from 1910. Set a short distance back from the pavement, these buildings occupy the former site of the Barton Hospital which was founded in 1431. This is a local building of note within the Conservation Area of Buckingham. (B1).
