18th or 19th Century milestone on A4129 at Kingsey Probable eighteenth to nineteenth century milestone on A4129 east of Kingsey village. On Milestones Society website as present in 2003 on Thame to Risborough route National ID number BU_THR103. On south side of road. 30cm wide, 30cm deep, 106cm high.' By Whirlbush Farm on grass verge. Crudely painted edge on to road '. Inscription: front: 'Oxford 16 THAME 3'. [ Detailed description, location and photograph ] (B1). In handwritten notes under ' J5 Milestones on Ground'. NGR 763 066 Aston Sandford ( opp Whirlbush Farm ). No number on 1" OS 1835 . Poor state: stone milestone: Facing 2 ways: No original marks. Painted on Oxford 16/ Thame 5 ( opp Whirlbush Farm) shape as NGR 779 061. Sketch annotated NGR 779 061. Square stone milestone facing 2 ways: painted on letters. Sloping top for drainage.
