Nineteenth century terraced house, now an independant school.
Three story building of grey brick, sash windows with straights stone moulded transom features above windows supported with scroll stone brackets. Stucco work is applied up to first floor level of front elevation with central portico supported by Corinthian columns. Stucco dressings to top floor. Cast iron gutters decorated with rose detail and pierced ridge tiles to hipped tiled roof. All these original features remain to the front roadside elevation which forms an integral part of the Grade II listed terraces to either side. The original cast iron railings and stone wall also remain which forms the boundary with the pavement. The building forms part of a significant group facing onto the Rye along London Road. Proposed for inclusion on local list (B1).
