Public house and adjacent cottage built possibly in the 17th Century
Formerly the Star P.H. Painted brick and pebbledash with half-timbered gables in "Brewer's Tudor" style. Between
them is a distinctive stepped pediment where the pub's name was displayed - this has an art deco look. Regarded as significant for its historical associations and contribution to the streetscene. This is a local building of note within the Conservtation Area of Beaconsfield Old Town. (B1)
