Description

Nineteenth century house at prominent location within the historic core of Stone village. 19th century three storey detached brick building with shallow pitched slate roof and brick end stacks. Ridgeline runs parallel with the carriageway. Three bays with low entrance door positioned slightly off centre flanked to either side by timber casement windows. Identified as being of local note because it is an attractive and relatively unspoilt 19th century building prominently positioned at the front of its plot helping to maintain the hard building line created by the adjacent stone boundary walls. Also rendered and prominent because of its three storey height. A Local Building of Note within the Conservation Area (B1).
