Description

Late nineteenth century house built in 1885, part of a terrace of 8 houses. Two storey red brick building with shallow pitched gabled slate roof and brick end stacks. Dentilated brick eaves. Ground floor door is flanked by window. At first floor level a blind window is located directly above the central passageway. Windows and doors sit beneath brick arches with a central stone keystone which creates an attractive colour contrast. A small stone plaque, date 1885, is located directly above the central passageway. This building has been identified as significant because it retains its form, outline and proportions as well as a significant percentage of its original features. A Local Building of Note within the Conservation Area (B1).
