Late nineteenth century Rothschild Estate building.
Two and a half storey detached building prominently positioned towards front of plot. Building sits
beneath a steeply pitched gable roof, the ridgeline of which runs parallel with the carriageway. The roof is laid in red and blue/grey tiles laid in a diagonal pattern. Tall rectangular brick end stacks with over-sailing brick courses interspersed between stone courses which provide colour contrast. Two gabled dormers break the eaves line, that to the left (facing) being larger that gable to right. Building to left contains lancet shaped window, that to the right a carved Rothschild motif. Ground floor constructed of red bricks with buff coloured bricks used for quoins providing colour contrast. Painted applied timber to first floor organised in geometric patterns or to replicated struts of timber framed building divide panels of pebble-dash and create strong visual impact. This building has been identified as being of local note because it retains a significant proportion of its original architectural features, because it forms part of the group of relatively modest, but nevertheless ornate Rothschild estate buildings within Waddesdon and because of its strong visual contribution to the character and interest of the street.
