Description

Pair of nineteenth century cottages Group of 19th century, 2 storey cottages. Red brick with tan brick detalining. Projecting dormers and gables at roof height. Red brick chimneys. Some of the group have retained traditional timber casement windows and doors. Others have had replacements. The group of buildings is visually prominent from the Main Street. Local note buildings within the conservation area of Ashendon (B1). The Old School House is shown as Head Mistress' House in survey plan of 1946 (B2).
