Historical records of medieval watermill A MILL WAS RECORDED ON TINGEWICK MANOR IN DOMESDAY (1086)(B1). IN 1340 THERE WAS A WATERMILL THAT HAD BEEN INCLUDED IN A VALUATION OF 1291 (B6). DOMESDAY MILL 200 YDS ALONG MILL DAM; FOUNDATIONS STILL SET IN BANK, ADJOINING SLUICE GATES, WHICH PROBABLY FORMED PART OF THE ORIGINAL MILL (B9).
